Japan 22-57 Ireland
Ireland have beaten World Cup-bound Japan in the first game of their summer tour by 57 points to 22 in Shizuoka.
The hosts burst into an early 15-0 lead, before Ireland finally got going.
Aoife Doyle, Aoife Dalton, Méabh Deely, Chloe Pearse, Molly Scuffil-McCabe and Emma Hooban scored tries, but Neve Jones was the star of the show with a hat-trick of five-pointers.
The game was the first in the women's national team's maiden summer tour and formed part of Japan's preparations for the World Cup in New Zealand later in the year, a tournament that Ireland missed out on.
