Ireland's Womens Hockey World Cup dream is over,
Graham Shaw's have been beaten by the Netherlands by six goals to nil in the final, but take nothing away from their efforts.
The Dutch are the number one ranked side in the World, and had only leaked three goals in the tournament, in comparison, Ireland 16th in the World and in their first World Cup in 16 years.
Graham Shaw's side will come home as heroes and the record will show, they're the first team in the history of Irish Sport to make a World Cup final.
It was confirmed this weekend, the Dublin Lord Mayor, Nial Ring will hold a civic reception for the team on their return home.
