There were smiles all round at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday evening as Ireland emerged on top following a pulsating match against Australia.
Iain Henderson, Garry Ringrose and Keith Earls all went over for tries as Joe Schmidt's men beat the Wallabies by 27 points to 24.
Paddy Jackson added the extras with three conversions and two penalties.
The victory means Ireland have beaten the big three southern hemisphere teams in the one calendar year for the first time following wins also over New Zealand and South Africa.
