
Team Ireland got off to the perfect start at the Olympic Games in Paris on Wednesday.
Ireland Men's Sevens opened their Pool A campaign at the Games with a 17-5 win over South Africa before recording a six-try defeat of Japan.
Those results leave them level with New Zealand on six points.
The sides to meet from 3.30pm Irish time today to see who will nab top spot in the pool.
Ireland captain Harry McNulty admits it was a relief to finally get going in the tournament.

"It's a really encouraging opening day for us and it's job done in terms of two wins from two," he said.
"It's all about a huge Pool game against New Zealand tomorrow afternoon as we want to progress through as winners and give ourselves the best possible draw in the knockout stages.
"We have had incredible support in Paris today and it has been electric playing in front of this crowd, so we're excited to come back tomorrow to raise our game and hopefully progress through the competition."
