Ireland have now lost two from two in the TikTok Six Nations as France ran in 6 tries today in a 40-5 defeat at Toulouse.
The visitors thought they had scored an early try through Eve Higgins - but it was ruled out by the TMO for an off the ball challenge. Higgins did eventually get under the posts for Ireland's only score in the game.
It leaves Ireland battling at the bottom of the table.
Manager Greg McWilliams said of the defeat, "You want to hold onto the ball in international rugby, particularly when your setpiece isn't functioning.
"At times when you're you're trying to get momentum and you're making basic handling errors it's tough."
