An afternoon that looked, for so long, like it would be going against the Irish provinces in Europe turned out to be hugely positive.
Two tries in the last twenty minutes saw Ulster turn their Heineken Champions Cup tie with Leicester on its head. Dan McFarland's charges came away from Welford Road with a 14-13 win, and a first appearance in the quarter-finals in five years.

At roughly the same time, Connacht were performining heroics of their own to secure Challange Cup last eight qualification. Jack Carty's late intercept try completed a marverlous comeback for the westerns, as they won 33-27 against Bordeaux.
They're set to play familiar foes Sale in that game on March 30th. The sides were both in Pool 3, and they both won their home games.
