Kilmacud Crokes 2-19 (25) O Tooles 0-13

Declan Drake at Parnell Park

The Stillorgan men managed by former Clare great Ollie Baker powered their way to the final of the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship with this 12 point defeat of Northsiders O Tooles here at Parnell Park.

Star man for Crokes was full forward Oisin O Rorke who helped himself to a personal tally of 1-11 on the day. His goal came on 11 mins when he scrambled home from close range to the back of the O Tooles net. Ross O Carroll smashed home their second goal in first half stoppage time to see them lead 2-10 to 0-7 at the break.

Crokes suffered a blow midway through the first half when wing back Robert Murphy had to be stretchered off with a leg injury. Try as O Tooles did especially through Niall Arthur they had no answer to the power of Kilmacud Crokes. The Larriers misery was complete on the blow of full time when corner back Ciaran Gethings was red carded after picking up his second bookable offence.
