The 17-time Grand Slam champion triumphed 6-2, 6-4, 6-love in their semi-final in Melbourne.
Nadal will go on to face the winner of tomorrow's clash between Novak Djokovic and Lucas Pouille
Earlier Petra Kvitova secured her place in the Australian Open tennis final with a convincing victory.
The two-time Wimbledon champion beat American Danielle Collins 7-6, 6-love in their last four match.

She'll play Naomi Osaka of Japan in the title decider after she got past Karolina Pliskova in three sets in their semi.
