LA Galaxy could be about to rescue Wayne Rooney from his Manchester United misery.
Reports this morning claim they're trying to lure him to the MLS.
Steven Gerrard looks to be on his way out of the club - he one of two designated players who can break the wage cap. One stumbling block could be Rooney's salary, with Gerrard said to only earn a quarter of what his former Premier League colleague takes home.
Rooney, who's enduring a tough time at Old Trafford, has been told by Jose Mourinho that he needs to move if he wants regular football. The United captain hasn't started United's last six games, the last two because of injury.
