Dubliner, James McGee, starts his quest for a place in the first round of the Australian Open later.
The Castleknock man takes on Matija Pecotic of Croatia in the first qualifying round in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
McGee is the only Irish representative in the men's and women's qualifying rounds but Sam Carr, son of former Dublin manager, Tommy Carr, is in the boy's tournament.

McGee will be looking to go one step further than last season when he fell in the final qualifying round. He'll be aiming to get off to a good start on Wednesday against a player ranked 329 places below him.
