Andy Murray has made a winning start to his Australian Open campaign after beating Georgian 21st seed, Nikoloz Basilashvili in a five set thriller in Melbourne.
Murray prevailed in five sets and speaking on court afterwards, he said it's been a long road back from a serious hip injury.

Fellow Brit Dan Evans made light work of David Goffin, while Heather Watson has also progressed with a victory over Mayar Sherif.
Former Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova was knocked out earlier this morning.
She lost in straight sets to Sorana Cirstea.
There have been wins for Garbine Muguruza, Simona Halep, Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev.
