Dublin manager Jim Gavin has named his team for tomorrow's All-Ireland Final against Mayo. It shows no changes from the team which beat Mayo, as this team aims to become the first one from the capital to win three titles in a row since the 1923 season.
What that means is that if there are no late changes, Diarmuid Connolly, Bernard Brogan, Michael Darragh Macauley, Cormac Costello, Kevin McManamon, Paul Flynn, Eoghan O'Gara, Darren Daly, and Eric Lowndes will be aiming to fill the six potential substitute places available throughout tomorrow's game.
The Dublin manager, and 1995 All-Ireland winner as a player, undoubtedly has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal. Many experts are suggesting that the bench will be the difference between the two sides.

However, since 2012, the teams have played six games in The Championship. The aggregate score is Dublin 10-79 Mayo 4-91, or 109 vs 103 for The Dubs. There's an average of a one point win for Dublin this decade.
In the last two seasons, the teams have drawn twice in The All-Ireland series. So any talk of Dublin being overwhelming favourites should be taken with a massive pinch of salt by supporters of the Blues.
What this current crop from the Capital can achieve tomorrow is truly historic however. The great Dublin team of the 70s and 80s, heralded as the county's greatest ever by many, including current Dubs supremo Jim Gavin, never won three in a row. The last time The Boys in Blue acheived that feat, the game was played a year later than originally scheduled due to the Civil War.
