Pulis warning for McClean

West Brom boss Tony Pulis says midfielder James McClean needs to watch his temper.

The Republic of Ireland international was at the centre of a shoving match over his tackle on Watford's Roberto Pereyra last weekend - which saw his opponent sent-off.

Pulis says he's spoken to McClean about the incident. Both clubs have been charged with failing to control their players.

"I think James has got to control himself and I think he understands he has to control himself," said Pulis.

"Sometimes he does live on the edge but that's the player he is and that's the person he is.

"He's a fantastic lad but when the game starts he's very competitive."
