Shane Long got on the scoresheet earlier, as Southamton beat Leicester 2-1 at the King Power. The result lifts the Saints out of the relegation zone.
Elsewhere, bottom side Huddersfield picked up a rare point; they drew 0-0 away to Cardiff.
Burnley came from behind to beat Fulham 2-1, while Watford also picked up three points with a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
