Declan Rice sent a timely reminder to Ireland fans who might say, "we're better off without him" this afternoon.
He put in a big performance, capped with the only goal, as West Ham beat Arsenal at the London Stadium.
The three times capped defender is set to decide his own international future before March. Mick McCarthy said this week that he'd prefer to deploy Rice in midfield, rather than defence, if he chooses to declare for the Boys in Green.
