Light welterweight, Sean McComb, notched up a super win over reigning champion and world number one, Vitaly Dunaytsev, at the European Boxing Championships in Ukraine on Monday.
He is through to the quarter-finals and the win has also guaranteed the Belfast man a spot at the World Championships in Hamburg later this year.
Dunaystev, the No. 1 seed who lost to McComb on a split decision at the National Stadium in April, always looked second best to the slick Ulster puncher.
McComb came out in top over three, three minute rounds on a split decision.
