Solskjaer pinpoints lack of fitness in United draw.

Manchester United are 27 games unbeaten away from home.

However United could only manage a point on the road against Southampton at St Mary's on Sunday afternoon, in a 1-1 draw.

The visitors fell behind just on the half-hour mark, a rather embarrassing concession of an own-goal from mid-fielder, Fred.

The lead could have been more for Southampton, Adam Armstrong for the Saints with a glorious chance, forcing keeper David De Gea into action.

In-between the goal and the chance, United got a hold of the game with Mason Greenwood putting his side level.

The point though was enough to level the record that Arsenal set in the 2003/04 season.

Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says there were a few issues in their play which could be down to a lack of fitness.

"We did well to get the goal, a good goal, having built pressure. We had another good spell for five or six minutes then lost our way a little bit.

"Maybe tiredness and sloppiness came in and we gave their crowd things to cheer about, they had some counter-attacks and a few dangerous moments. The whole team fell away a little bit and we didn't play particularly well in the last 15 minutes."
