Sparta pair in hot water over sexist remarks

Sparta Prague have made two of their star players train with the club's women's team, after the two publicly ridiculed a female assistant referee after a league game last weekend.

Goalkeeper Tomas Koubek said "women belong at the stove" after a female assistant referee after she failed to flag an opponent offside during Sunday's 3-3 draw with Zbrojovka Brno.

Midfielder, Lukas Vacha, went as far to tweet a picture of the assistant referee in question, simply writing "the stove".

Sparta Prague chief executive Adam Kotalík called the remarks "unacceptable" and added that the duo "will see for themselves that women can be handy not only at the stove".
