The URC has sacked the agency it used to run its TikTok account.
It follows a post that made light of a head injury suffered by Cardiff's Aled Summerhill.
The post included sleeping and laughing sound effects and emojis over a video of Summerhill suffering a blow to the head while tackling the Lions winger Edwill van der Merwe.
The URC would like to extend its apology to Aled’s family, friends, team-mates, Cardiff Rugby and anyone else who rightly found a recent TikTok post to be inappropriate.

The 27 year-old was left lying prone on the ground after the incident.
He later flew home early from the club's tour to South Africa.
The league has apologised to the player, his family, teammates and "anyone who rightly felt the post was inappropriate"
