Young Dubs get campaign back on track

The Dublin minor hurlers picked up their first win of their Leinster campaign on Saturday, beating Offaly by 1-23 to 1-10 at Parnell Park.

The young Blues came into the game off the back of last weekend's narrow defeat to Kilkenny.

They started the game slowly, and trailed to a Dan Murray goal early on. But they fought back to take a two point lead into the break.

Mike Connolly's charges stepped it up a gear after the break, and Luke Swan's goal complimented a fine performance.

In the day's other game, Kilkenny came away from Enniscorthy with a win point win over Wexford (3-13 to 2-15). Dublin face the same journey to take on the Slaneysiders next Saturday.
